Houston and Scott recently participated in the OKGO Market event in Tulsa as one of 150+ small local businesses from across the state of Oklahoma. This carefully curated one-day marketplace was the first of many statewide initiatives centered around an ongoing Made in Your Favorite State™ campaign.
OKGO Market focuses on providing an exceptional retail experience that allows each merchant an in-person opportunity to showcase their products directly to local consumers. The 2022 event was held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Central Park Hall at Expo Square at the Tulsa Fairgrounds. Admission was free and open to the public.
Participating Oklahoma merchants came from 29 cities throughout the state including Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Lawton, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bixby, Midwest City, Enid, Muskogee, Yukon, Ardmore, Ponca City, Mustang, Sapulpa, Sand Springs, Bethany, Claremore, Altus, Grove, Tahlequah, Ada, Glenpool, Weatherford, Guthrie, Okmulgee, Coweta, Wagoner, Collinsville, and Chouteau.
In addition to the handmade luxury throw pillows offered by Houston and Scott, shoppers found Oklahoma-made wines, dry foods, gift sets, artisan candies, souvenirs, handcrafted birdhouses, boutique pet treats, home & outdoor décor, leather accessories, organic beauty products, and much more.
Guests who stopped by the Houston and Scott booth could register to win a one-of-a-kind handmade pyramid shaped pillow, made from velvet and mohair fabric, and valued at $150.
The Houston and Scott booth also showcased one of the vintage sewing machines that was used to make all of the decorative throw pillows and other items for sale at the market and online.

MORE ABOUT OKGO MARKET
OKGO Market is proud to offer high-grade, carefully curated marketplace events that allow the community an opportunity to support countless small local businesses all under one roof. With each merchant showcasing their own unique contribution to products made in the state of Oklahoma, OKGO Market combines a food, shopping, and makers market all into one exceptional retail experience.
OKGO Market is a TulsaGo® project and an expansion of TulsaGo Market. Originally crafted as an initiative to help local businesses recoup lost monies during the pandemic, OKGO Market became the product of a state-wide maker marketplace interest. With over 1600 shoppers in its first year, OKGO Market expanded in 2022 to include makers and businesses located from around the entire state of Oklahoma, rather than just Tulsa County.
